It is a very special day today – it is my doppelganger / not-so-secret-sausage-Valentine, Lovely Lottie’s 1st Birthday!

I decided as it was the special ladies birthday, I would honour the occasion and send her a nice present. It took me a while to decide what to get her when I visited the pet shop, the fact that there were boxes of treats OPEN and easy for me to sniff was a little distracting to say the least but I was good and stuck to my task (ok, I may have had a cheeky nibble…)

I settled on a soft, squeaky bone shaped toy covered in vintage-inspired red floral fabric – I thought this would be perfect for a girl that resides in the country. So after my deliberating (and treat tasting) I went home and wrapped it all up nicely for her.

I even had a special card made up for Lottie, which has a picture of the two of us, looking pretty cute if I do say so myself!

I signed it with loving-paw and posted it – ok, Mum posted it for me as I just can’t quite reach the postbox but I supervised. Luckily it all arrived in one piece and on time as she sent me some snap shots of her having breakfast in bed (Mum – note this for 2nd July) and opening her presents.

It looks as though she liked my present as she had a little play (hopefully once her breakfast had gone down) however she is a girl after my own heart, as she found the wrapping ribbon far more fun!

This girl should do an FHM shoot, Sexy Sausage!

I’m so glad Lottie had a lovely day – she deserves it! And I am pretty sure her Mum would have cooked her a yummy homemade dinner, you know where to send the leftover birthday cake…
