Yesterday I took Alan on his first official sausage group meet-up to socialise with some new pals and of course, my Lovely Lottie! We all met at Frensham Little Pond in Surrey for a stroll, swim and a pub lunch – perfect Bank Holiday Sunday! So let me introduce you to some of my new friends and some of my favourite old ones…
First up is this very handsome chap and he has the best name. Ever. Everyone, meet Geoffrey! Can you believe it?!
And here’s his sister, the lovely calm Millicent
The amazing Fonz, what a dude!
Mylo the Magnificent!
Otto, the foxy looking long hair!
Little Edith, better known as Edie and Alan’s new girlfriend…
And last but not least, my Lovely Lottie Loo Brush!
After initial introductions and bum sniffing , that’s us dogs not our parents, we set off on our walk…
Following the leader…
We stopped off for a water break, gotta keep hydrated on these long walks!
Whilst Lottie decided something smelt good underground, making the use of her pretty hound nose, and had a little dig about…
And Mylo took the rest-stop literally, Geoff had to check he was ok and didn’t need mouth to mouth…
Geoffrey found the biggest stick in the whole park (I think he was going to poke Milo with it), show off…
And Otto decided to chase my Lovely Lottie!!! I hope he wasn’t suggesting a game of lick-chase…
Whilst Edie & my baby brother Alan were getting a little closer…
Cheeky little kiss…
I took a pit-stop with Mum and some other lovely ladies, the fuss and cuddles were rather nice!
Soon it was time for a dip in the pond, soggy sausages all round!
Alan didn’t want to get his toes wet…
Come back Geoffrey! What a swimmer, he’s like the Mark Foster of the dog world!
Photobombing labrador!!
And a schnauzer! I had to convince Alan that Nanny & Harvey hadn’t arrived…
Taking a romantic stroll along the beach with my Lovely Lottie…
After we’d all had our toes and tummy dried with a warm towel, oh that was just me….. We went for lunch at the pub where we took the opportunity to have a snooze…
And some group photos…
What a gorgeous couple!
Alan & Edie showed us up with their cuteness!
The amazing and wise Fonz shared a lovely cuddle with his mum
And the group line up (from left to right)
Fonz, Me, Alan, Edie, Lovely Lottie, Otto, Geoffrey & Millicent at the back!
Thank you for a fab day to all my new (and old) friends!
Dach’s all for now – hope you’ve all had a nice Bank Holiday Weekend
Jeffrey x
