Fridays Furry Friend

Well hello Friday! It seems like a long time ago since we saw you last!! This week we celebrated Valentines Day, if you missed my blog post, never fear, you can catch up HERE  We have been settling back into our routine at Nanny & Grandad’s now they are back from holiday and it seems that they brought some long awaited sunshine back with them! The boys & I have been making the most of this and I am definitely making a head start on topping up my tanned bits this year…

Sunbathing Dachshund

This weeks Fridays Furry Friend has been sent in by Ruth who adopted the very lovely Lacey Lullibell after a very sorry start in life. But she’s turned a corner and seems to be having a lovely new life with Ruth, I do like a happy ending!

Hi Jeffrey,
This is a picture of  Princess Lacey, she is coming up ten years old and a total Honey.

Shaded red, standard longhaired Dachshund rescued by me, Mummy Ruth, after she was left in a shed when she was of no use to her breeder. Too many pups apparently……….she is a  real Diva and we are inseparable. I don’t own her-she owns me!!

I hope she becomes your Furry Friend of the week!

Love your adventure reports by the way and Lacey has taken quite a shine to you too!!

Lots of love

Dach’s all for now – off to get my sun cream ready…

Lacy Lullibell looks magnificent and she must have a very special Mum. It’s so sad to hear of sausages that have had such sad, cruel lives until they’re rescued into loving homes. The other three look a friendly bunch as well.
Not much sun in Gloucestershire. Just enough for a warm sleep on the windowsill this afternoon. There’s plenty of mud though.
Hope the four of you have a lovely weekend. I’m just waiting for my a dad to arrive home from Houston on Saturday morning. It’s been a long week without him.
    Regards,
    Finn
