Well hello on a very wet & windy Friday!!! Seriously, what is up with the weather in the UK at the moment? One minute it’s freezing cold and the next it’s pouring with rain – a sausage just can’t plan his social engagements with this weather!! And bedsides, this rain does nothing for my hair however Mum has offered me some Frizz Ease to tame my mop-a-top…

Anyway, we did receive a parcel in the post this week to cheer us up – our lovely pals Huxley & Rolo from Huxley Hound sent us samples of their new treat flavours, parsnip & sweet potato! I just can’t wait to crack into them this weekend however I guess I’ll have to share them seeing as we are momentarily living with Harvey & Rodney!! This weeks Fridays Furry Friend is an old Furry Friend of ours, Oscar! Oscar lives in Somerset and as much as I moan about the rain where I live, they have it much worse down there and poor Oscar experienced the flooding. It sounds like his life had a bit of a change since we last heard from him with gaining a new family member in the form of Rose but unfortunately she passed away but it sounds like in that year together, Oscar & Rose had a lovely friendship.

Now.. I was your furry friend a few years back, living in Somerset when the floods hit. So, years on it’s still damp here but lots has happened.

I had a best friend “Rose” who my hoomuns rescued about a year ago, she had been kept in a crate and puppy farmed all her life, she was we think about 11 when she came to us. She had no fur and had never been on a walk or had a toy. It took a long time for her to get fit enough to walk with me but she was always loving and always wanted to squeeze into my bed. After a year of her loving it with us she passed away, I wasn’t sure where she was for a while as SHE was the boss and I had to check the lounge in the evening before I snuck in but now I am loving being the centre of everything again…there is talk of a new friend coming however!
