Well that was a nice short week, I do like it when we start the week off with a Bank Holiday! It looks as though Spring has sprung this week after the bizarre stormy weather last Easter weekend, Alan has even been running around the park naked in the mornings, leaving his fleece at  home!

This weeks Furry Friend is un petit chien Linda from France! Cheryl & David are loyal followers of Sausage Tails and we congratulated them over on my Facebook page on their nuptials a couple of weeks ago. It seems they can’t get away from us sausage dogs, even on honeymoon, and were so thrilled to see a fellow long body that they nominated Linda!

We had a lovely, perfect wedding last week – we were so pleased to hear from you and have enjoyed the fantastic photos over Easter! Whilst on honeymoon in France we caught up with a little dog we met last year who we nicknamed Rusty – you can see why with the colour of the fur. We tried to find out what breed of dog Rusty was last year, but because our French is not great, we found out that he was a she and called Linda! We think she’s a cross-breed, but as a puppy we did wonder if she was a wirey dachshund as she has quite a long body! She is a beautiful, beardy dog who loves a good stroke and doesn’t even mind that we can’t speak much French to her! You guys would love it here in France – it’s very dog friendly – you’d be able to go into most restaurants and shops and I’m sure the language wouldn’t be a problem for a smart ‘saucisse’ like you!
