Sunny Sunday Sausages

It’s been a good Sunday – the sun has been shining, I’ve had roast chicken for dinner and best of all, one of my best pals Archie came for a visit this afternoon!

Archie

I showed Archie my toy box, I think he was quite impressed! He was so excited that he dove right in to help himself

Bringing it back, Archie won of course…

We then went out to the garden to enjoy the sunshine

I chased Archie for a bit, not sure he was too impressed…

We then played with the tennis ball together

That was until Archie decided to shred the ball into a million tiny pieces…

So after Mum cleared it all up as she was worried we would eat the pieces (as if!) it was back inside where Archie made himself quite a home – Mi Casa Su Casa

I also decided that as he had destroyed one of my toys it was only fair to take advantage of one of Archie’s, Mum has always taught me to share nicely

We then decided that the living room floor would be a good area for a sausage dog wrestle. I just had to check Archie’s teeth before we started for any hidden weapons

Mum then started preparing the roast dinner, this was a prime opportunity to show Archie around the kitchen and how to make a cute face at Mum to encourage her to give us food. I have to say, I think he’s had practice at this

Jeffrey & Archie

The cute puppy faces were so good that Mum gave us some carrot – result!

At this point we were pretty tired so had a rest, Archie makes a good pillow, whilst we carried on watching Mum stuffing the chicken (I may have drooled on Archie’s head)

A big thanks to Archie’s Mum & Dad for having their wedding rehearsal and letting Archie come and play, I hope its a regular thing!

Dach’s all for now – off to pencil a date in my diary…

Jeffrey – I’m impressed by your toy box! My two standards would be very envious – but they probably have bigger teeth than you and their toys don’t last long. If you have any tips for tough toys, let me know and I will treat them. Karen Beesley (on behalf of Girl and Pod)
