What a busy week we’ve had! Alan & I have had our new friend Lenny to stay for a few days whilst his Mum & Dad have been away. We’ve been good big brother figures and taken him to our local park where we walk in the mornings, introduced him to our cats (which are not best pleased by the situation!) and taken him to visit Rodney and The H’s. It’s been fun but I’ll be the first to admit, keeping both chocolate pups amused is tiring, they’ve been running rings around me, emptying the toy box and taking up all the bed space! But it’s very sweet to see Alan running around and wrestling with his mini-me, silly sausages!

This week’s Furry Friend is a joint entry from Beau and his brother Jed and I have to say, how good do these lads look for their age! Mum was pleased to hear that we’re not the only sausage dogs to bark at their doorbells, well we have to make sure our Mum’s know there’s someone at the door don’t we?

My name is Beau and this is my brother Jed. We’d love to be your Friday’s Furry Friends sometime – I’m wirehaired like you and am 11 and Jed is longhaired and is 15 & 3/4. He is totally deaf now but don’t worry, I look after him and make sure he doesn’t miss any opportunity to bark at the doorbell. We used to have an older brother called Oscar who looked like Alan, but he is an angel now. We love reading about you and Alan and thought we’d say hello!
