Fridays Furry Friend

This week’s Fridays Furry Friend is more of a ‘get well’ and it’s a special double whammy! Both my pal Archie and my Lovely Lottie Loo have been to the vets for that ‘special’ operation, like I had last month.

Archie  joined the ‘nutless’ gang this week and was feeling the effects of the drugs for a few hours! He’s perked right up now and is chasing his balls (excuse the pun) again. Hope you feel better soon buddy and we can meet up for a stroll, don’t worry, you won’t even realise they’re gone after a while!

Here he is giving us his best Autumnal pose…

Lottie

My Lovely Lottie Loo has been under the knife, I was worried that she was going in for a nip n tuck which is totally unnecessary as she’s perfect the way she is. But no, she too has been neutered so can be the honorary girl in our gang! She was not enjoying her blow-up collar which prevented her from licking her stitches (her Mum’s a spoil sport!) however I think she pulled it off quite well…

I hope my friends feel better and are soon out there chasing birds, cats and squirrels!

Dach’s all for now!

Jeffrey – it is so kind of you to recognize your friends during their recoveries! You must remember that Lottie’s surgery was a bit different than yours and Archie’s, so her mum really must force her to wear the cone of shame (or in her case, the donut of shame) so that she doesn’t break open her stitches. Fortunately for me, my sausages did not make me wear the cone following my recent surgery. (You might know me as the mum of Tucker, Cocoa Puff, fosters Pretzel and Rory at the Facebook page “Everything Dachshund”.) I hope everyone’s back to their old selves soon!

Jeffrey – It is so kind of you to recognize your friends during their recoveries! You have to remember that Lottie’s surgery is quite different than yours and Archie’s, so her mum has no choice but to force her to wear the cone of shame (or in her case, the donut of shame) so that she doesn’t pull out her stitches. Having just had surgery myself, I’m relieved that my own sausages did not force me to wear a cone during my recovery. You might know me as the mum to Cocoa Puff, Tucker, fosters Pretzel and Rory at our Facebook page, Everything Dachshund. Here’s to quick recoveries for all of us!
