Fridays Furry Friend

Well hello there everyone! How has your week been? Grandad has been making progress on our house extension. He said we were to dig the footings this week, you know how us dachshunds love to dig so I volunteered Alan & myself for this job but he said he couldn’t wait a year for it to be done so hired in the big guns! It’s ok though, I got to help drive the digger for a bit & when I got too cold, I retired back to my bed ready to help Grandad eat his packed lunch, well I do like to be helpful!

This week we are starting the festive season off on a feel good note, well we are in December after all! This weeks Furry Friend is Bunny who was rescued from the streets of Las Vegas and has gone on to have a lovely life! Not only has Bunny got a lovely new family but also has a schnauzer friend, just like my Nanny’s Harvey!

Hi Jeffrey,
I’m Bunny. I was rescued from the streets of Las Vegas, NV 3 days before Christmas last year (2015). I had my bonded brother Victor with me too. We survived together, so we needed to be adopted together. we were both in very bad shape. Victor was near death and I had many scars from injuries. mommy had been taking donations to the shelter when she saw us. We came home that day. with lots of love and care, mommy, daddy and 2 human babies took care of us. We have another fur brother Milo who is a schnauzer, he taught us how to get treats and of for walks outside without fear. We love our new family and it’s been the best year of our lives.
Love
Bunny Rabbit and family!

What a sad story. How can anyone mistreat another living thing. So glad that Bunny was lucky enough to find a loving family and can now relax and enjoy life. Have a wonderful Christmas Bunny.
Well Jeffrey, you’re a proper Bob the Builder! Hope you and Alan were a help and not a hindrance to Grandad!
Hope you both have a lovely weekend. Take care.
    Regards,
    Finn
