Mum came home with a big package for me…
I had to give it a good sniff over, however this did confirm that unfortunately, no food was contained in the package. I had been thinking along the lines of a big box of Bonio’s or maybe chicken…
Mum said I could go ahead and open it so I used my big badger paws to rip a hole in it which gave me the opportunity to take a sneaky peak at what was inside…
However it seemed like a big empty hole so I kept on with the unwrapping…
It was an empty box!! What use is that to me? A box full of treats would have been better! However Mum went on to tell me that this was a special box, a wooden French wine box…
Mum went on to explain that this was for me to store my toys in – a new toy box! A bit smarter and more robust than my old one, she thought it was quirky and would fit in with our lounge (you know how Mum’s have interior design ‘moments’)
However I had to make sure that it was up to the job, my toys are pretty important you know.
It seemed plenty big enough for all my important toys and also the not so important toys. I would like to point out though, Mum didn’t drink all the wine that was originally in the box, it came empty.
So it was soon time to start loading my toys into my new box…
All done, they just about fitted…
At this point Mum went on to tell me that she would need my toy box back as decoration for their wedding next year, there’s always a catch…
Dach’s all for now – off to buy one or two more essential toys…
