Today is what Sundays are all about – making new friends! Mum and Dad took me over to Windsor Great Park as Dachshund’s In London were having a group meet and Mum thought it was about time that I met some of my own ‘kind’ as I’ve not seen many other Sausages since Mum got me.

Windsor is a really nice walk, lots of grass and paths to sniff, people and dogs to meet and a really, really big house that we weren’t allowed to go in. I don’t know why really? Mum said it was because the Queen lives there, I’m sure she would love 15 dachshunds to join her for tea.

So here’s some of my new friends…

And here’s my new best friend Archie! I can see that we will become firm friends, he’s good fun to run around with and Mum kept saying that he’s so handsome, she hopes that I will be as handsome and dapper as Archie! (the cheek of it!!)

Our Mum’s and Dad’s were struggling to get us to all look to the front, everything was just too EXCITING!! (check me out on the far right giving my new pal Archie a little lick!)

Here we are heading past the Queens big house, what a sight we made! I suggested again about popping into see the Queen as I quite fancied a cuppa but again, Mum said no! I bet the Queen’s Corgi’s get afternoon tea… 

It’s been a VERY tiring day and it’s definitely one I wish to repeat. The only thing I could do when I got home was this –
