Apparently it was ‘time’ for me to have a trim and tidy up, not sure what was wrong with this look?

However after some persuasion Mum and Nanny took the scissors, stripping knife and my new Coat King and set-to with smartening me up. I was pleased with the results, I turned out to be one dapper dachshund, even if I do say so myself!

I also got a pawdicure, my nails filed and clipped, I don’t want to be catching long talons on my smart knitted jumpers or my posh bed.

I was getting quite chilled by this point so I just laid back and let Nanny do her thing.

Nanny also sent me home with a pot of special ear salve, apparently made with ‘Nanny’s Love’, as my ears are a little chapped from the cold and windy weather we’ve been having.

And of course I can’t reach my own ears as I’ve only got little stumpy legs so I had to get my assistant Mum to apply it for me.

This is the life!
