So I had a few of my buddies over today to celebrate my 1st birthday. Due to the weather it was safe to say that we were Hot Dogs (pun intended) so I helped Mum set up this morning, taking precautions for the pooches with a gazebo, umbrellas and of course, lots of cake.

I also made sure I had a party bag for all my guests featuring home made (by my own fair paw) cheesey bones…

Archie of Archie & Me who will now be known as ‘Eyebrow Archie’, I’m sure you can see why…

And my very Lovely Lottie, special guest…

I set the paddling pool up which served as a good cooling off station and also a large drinking bowl…

My Lovely Lottie’s Mummy made the most amazing and yummy birthday cake for me…

And of course it went down well with all the others too!

I also received some lovely new toys from my buddies, a funky squeaky monkey from Lottie (which no doubt will annoy mum = perfect!)

Archie smoothie got me a cool hotdog, how appropriate is that?!

Lottie and I got a few stolen moments together, which was nice. I got to bark her a few of my new jokes and chat-up lines (not that I needed them) and also we got to have a bit of a romantic wrestle…

It’s ok, I let her win and sit on me like she’s conquered me, but we all know I was being a gentleman…

But after a lovely afternoon playing and catching up with my friends, I was pretty pooped…

I had a really lovely afternoon celebrating my birthday with my pals, we had a good old catch up and play and of course some very yummy cake! Thank you to all my buddies for my presents and of course to Emma, Lovely Lottie’s Mum, for making some lovely cakes for the parents and also my amazing birthday cake!
