Model Behaviour

As some of you may know, my Nanny is the Practice Manager and Auntie Shelley the Head Nurse of the doctors vets I attend when I have any ‘issues’. Not only does this mean that I get special VIP treatment when I visit, extra cuddles, treats and a non-judgemental weigh-in but also that I now appear as the Cover Dog for their marketing material, another addition to my CV.

It started with me answering their prayers for a ‘photogenic’ dog for their website and who’s more photogenic than me? I appear about half way down on the Temple End Vets website HERE, I personally think Nanny just enjoys seeing me on their website everyday however she says it’s good to have a more ‘unusual’ breed on there, I’m not sure whether that’s a compliment or not? There’s only one or two photos of me currently on the website amongst some other pets however I plan to gradually infiltrate all aspects of the Temple End website and take over, becoming their sole mascot.

After the website they then wanted my handsome wirey face to grace the cover of their practice brochure so not only do I appear as a constant in the waiting room but in peoples homes when they are given a brochure, I reckon some people may have framed me on their mantlepiece but what do I know?

The latest print edition to feature my dashing dachshund body is the local golf club brochure which Temple End have advertised in. They could have used any other dog (Rodney maybe?) but no, they wanted me! I believe they feel my steely model stare says it all about the practice, professional but friendly, serious but soft around the edges, who wouldn’t want to take their dog to a vets that has this handsome fella as a client?
