You may remember back in March I shared a lovely book I had been sent to review called The Adventures of Magical Mabel , well now we have book number 2! This one is called Magical Mabel’s Adventures In The Tower Of London and the author, Wendy Clark kindly sent us a copy to review.
So Alan & I decided that we would test it out at bedtime to see whether Mabel’s adventures sent us off into slumberland with a lovely story to dream of…
I thought I’d have a little flick through first to see the beautiful illustrations and get a glimpse at what Mabel had in store for us this time…
Mum said she would read us the story, she’s really good at doing all the voices however Alan & I were pretty sleepy…
Without giving any spoilers, Mabel and her pal Alfie head off for a day out to the Tower of London and of course, Mabel gets into some magical mischief!
I informed Mum that she needs to add the Tower of London to the list of places I’d like to visit, I’m pretty sure they let all dogs in if Mabel & Alfie were able to sneak in…
Like the last book there was a moral to the story, Mum & I decided that it’s always good for children (or adults) to read a fun story but for there to also be a lesson learned.
The story was so captivating that even Snitch the cat wanted to join in on our bedtime story!
Alan & I enjoyed reading this latest instalment of Mabel’s Magical Adventures, we would certainly recommend this to any child from a sausage dog household!
If you too would like to treat yourself to this fun tale, you can get your very own copy HERE and to celebrate the publication of Magical Mabel’s Adventures In The Tower Of London, Mabel is offering 20% off all Wendy Clark books, just enter the code TOWER at the check out!
Dach’s all for now!
