Whoo hoo! It’s the weekend! This week has been a short but busy week, we started the week off with Bank Holiday Monday which mainly consisted of chilling out and enjoying a family BBQ and then our pal Lenny arrived on Tuesday to stay for a few days. Lenny has done a fab job of keeping Alan amused, they just wrestle all the time which leaves me free to patrol our garden in peace and catch up on some much needed sleep, I do like a nap or five two a day.
We also celebrated my 4th gotcha day yesterday! Can you believe it’s been 4 years since Mum & Dad bought me home and introduced me to a whole new life away from my litter mates! I learnt that I had 2 new brothers in the shape of Snitch & Sylvester the cats, I started classes with Mum and soon learnt that being at Nanny & Grandad’s would be home away from home and that Bonio’s are rather tasty – the perfect life for a young sausage!
We have been on so many adventures, made new friends and lost some loved ones too. Mum & Dad have got married and we also added a new addition to our three-some of a family in the form of Alan, making us the perfect four-some or should that be paw-some?!
So 4 amazing years have passed and we have so many other adventures to take too! I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you all for your continued support of my blog & social media platforms, without you it would be nothing – THANK YOU!
Back to the task in hand paw, our Fridays Furry Friend! This week we chose the very cute Wilson as he reminded Mum so much of me when I was pup 4 years ago! It sounds like he was just like me as a young sausage, enjoying naps & belly rubs, don’t worry Wilson, it doesn’t stop when you get older!
Hi Jeffrey and Alan.
My name is Wilson and I would love to be your Friday furry friend.
I’m 9 weeks old, I like to play with all my toys including mums slipper! I love my puppy naps in the day and lots of belly rubs. My brother Basil who is also a dachshund like me, loves to come round a play.
Lots of love Wilson Xxx

Dach’s all for now – are any of you celebrating anything this weekend?

Don’t forget, if you too would like to be my Fridays Furry Friend, email a photo and a bit about yourself to sausagetails@live.co.uk

Gosh you were a cutie Jeffrey! And you’re still a cutie today, but with added maturity, flair and charm.
Mum has fallen in love (yet again) with this week’s FFF. What a super name. I just think that burger looks tasty!
Hope you have a lovely weekend. Take care.
Regards,
Finn
