Fridays Furry Friend

Happy Friday all! Well what a lovely week we’ve had! It’s been glorious sunshine nearly every day and the boys and I have been making the most of the fab weather by lounging around on the lawn, topping up our tanned bits! We are planning a BBQ this weekend to celebrate this spell of sunshine so I’ve put my request in with Grandad for cheese burger, just keep your paws crossed for me…
Jeffrey the Dachshund

This weeks Fridays Furry Friends are actual sausage friends of mine! The lovely Basil aka Swamp Monster, due to his unfortunate habit in rolling in anything sandy or muddy and his wirey brother, Jester! Their lovely Mum Emma sent us these fabulous photos of the boys, they are lucky enough that Emma is an absolute pro with a camera and therefore these dudes look like proper models! We’ve even been privileged in the past to be photographed by Emma! They have been on holiday in Norfolk this week and are definitely channeling a bit of a Baywatch vibe…

Hi Jeffrey,
We are on holiday in Norfolk with the boys. The first weekend we went to Hunstanton Fun Dog Show where the boys entered the Dachshund racing. Jester won his heat and then went on to be overall champion by winning the final. Very proud of my speedy boy.
We have done lots of walking and the boys are loving the beach. Basil has been doing his usual sand monster imitations. They have also been on a boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney.

Basil and Jester are lovely and what brave boys going swimming in the sea. Chilly! I’ve been on holiday this weekend as we’ve been visiting my Nain and Taid (my Welsh grandparents). It’s a long way to the Llŷn peninsula!
    Have a lovely Bank Holiday.
    Regards,
    Finn
