Catch Me Up

Hello everyone! I’m afraid I’ve been a little AWOL recently due to Alan and I coming down with the lurgie that is Kennel Cough. It really wasn’t very nice, Alan went down with it first, sneezing and coughing all over the place, he felt very sorry for himself the poor little dude.

A week went by, Mum and I thought I had escaped the clutches of the ‘cough’ being older and bigger but within a matter of hours, a week to the day of Alan showing signs of the infection, there I was coughing up phlegm all over Mum’s cream carpet. Popular I was not.

It was ok though, Mum felt sorry for me so she packed me off to bed with an extra blanket and my favourite toy…

It was handy that Mum & Dad just so happened to be at home painting (apparently the house was looking ‘grubby’. especially in my room, I told Mum it was the cats) so I slept it off whilst Alan became a mini kangaroo and hung out in Mum’s jumper.

So Alan & I were facing yet another week stuck in prison quarantine at home and we starting to go a tad stir crazy, apparently chasing the cats was not a good way of burning off our excess energy. I disagree.

Alan & I spent a lot of time chilling out, topping up our Winter tans and perfecting the art of turning on the puppy dog eyes…

As my Facebook and Twitter followers know, Mum & Dad went away with Nanny & Grandad last weekend (hence no Fridays Furry Friend) so we packed our things and moved in with Rodney & The H’s for a couple of days where Nanny’s best friend Auntie Yvonne looked after us. We hadn’t seen them for nearly TWO WEEKS so it was a rather fun weekend catching up, comparing weight gain and sucking each others ears (thats Alan on Harvey. Nothing to do with me.)

Alan was slightly worried as Mum & Dad hadn’t been away since he came to join our little family so he tried to get himself packed…

But we were fine and had such fun, Alan even made a new best friend in Auntie Yvonne having lots of cuddles, which he loved – thank you to Auntie Yvonne for looking after us, we all really appreciate it!

It was nice to get back to our home, there’s nothing like your own cosy sofa…

And we were then FINALLY allowed out into the park to see our friends, to say we were pleased was an understatement!

Fridays Furry Friend will be back this week so make sure you email me your photo and a bit about your Furry Friend to sausagetails@live.co.uk

So what have you all been up to?

Dach’s all for now – it’s good to be back!
