The Tooth Fairy

Mum decided to keep my teeth from puppyhood, the ones she found that I hadn’t swallowed by accident anyway, and save them up until I had enough to leave the tooth fairy. Mum explained the process to me and it sounded pretty boring and useless until she got to the bit where the tooth fairy actually pays me in Bonios for my teeth that had dropped out – result!

So I got my teeth out

I put them under my pillow

And then I went to bed for a little snooze, Mum promised that the tooth fairy would only come if I went to sleep and that she didn’t want to be eyeballed by a sausage dog. Apparently she normally arrives at tooth-hurty in the morning but Dad says that’s the time he normally has his dentist appointment (you humans are weird).

Despite what Mum told me, I slept with one eye open. I just couldn’t believe that there would be a small sausage dog shaped fairy (a sausage dog WITH wings) that was strong enough to lift me and my bed up and deposit 3 Bonios underneath it without me realising, surely not? But when I woke up and checked under my pillow, hey presto! 3 Bonios in exchange for my 3 teeth – a sausage miracle!

Bonios for breakfast? Hell no! Mum is waaay to strict on my treats and diet (boring) So I had to wait until lunch snack time but it was worth waiting for!

Dach’s all for now – I’m off to brush my canines!
