So Mum finally found them after hours and hours searching the internet. She’s been going on about it for a few weeks now and I thought there would never be a design that would be ‘suitable’ for our ‘needs’ (Dad say’s it’s a ‘want’ not a ‘need’). She said she fancied a ‘change’ and it should be something that reflects our little family. Sausage dog cushions…

She found them on a really good website called Etsy (note to all-LOTS of dachshund things on there!) and Mum just fell in love with them, even more so when she realised that they match the sofa! Ironically the Etsy shop is called Jefferies Corner – how funny is that?! Mum said it was a sign and she HAD to have them!!

You can buy some of the cushions for yourself from the Etsy shop HERE and the lovely owner Lucy, who clearly has good taste if she called her shop Jefferies Corner (even if she has spelt it wrong) is really helpful and also does custom orders.

And it seemed Mum was on a roll as she arrived home with these at the weekend…

I can’t really describe the look on Dad’s face when Mum bundled through the door with all her shopping bags saying ‘you boys are going to LOVE what I found’, if anything he looked slightly amused, possibly due to Mum’s growing collection of all things sausage dog.

But I have to say, I don’t mind what they have on them, as long as they are comfy on my butt and adequate for afternoon snoozing but the fact they have a dachshund on makes them all the better.
