Crufts 2014

On Friday Mum and Nanny abandoned The H’s, Rodney & I to go to Crufts and of course, it was hound day! I was pretty jealous as it would have been nice to attend Crufts, you know, meet some fans, sign some pawtographs, strut my stuff in the ring however Mum said that it wasn’t that kind of show and I was to stay at home and keep an eye on everyone. I’m a responsible sausage.

It’s ok though, I caught up on the judging later on the TV and managed to catch a fellow wire haired dachshund being judged!

However I was pretty impressed by the posh treats Mum brought me back, including my favourite pizzle sticks, result! The treat haul also included some dried chicken feet and some nicely packaged deer treats, never heard of these before!

Chicken feet went down pretty well…

And Mum said I wasn’t to gobble these ones as they were pretty dear…

On top of some rather posh and tasty treats, I also got some new Kong balls. Now these are meant to be for training, to retrieve at class and bring back to Mum however I’m not going to lie, I prefer to get the ball and take my time squeaking it all the way back down the hall and winding up all the other dogs.  But lets not tell Mum or she won’t let me have them!!

Dach’s all for now – I hope you’ve all enjoyed watching Crufts too!

We were at Crufts on Friday too Jeffrey for hound day. We too saw the pizzle sticks for sale but as soon as the stall holder told us what a pizzle was we put them back 😮 I am surprised a distinguished gentleman like yourself eats them Jeffrey!! xx
