We woke up this morning & decided that it was the perfect day to go for a family dog walk! We picked our route, a local stroll along the River Thames, text Rodney to arrange a meeting spot and set off.
My hoobro Joey came along for the ride, my Dad makes a very good packhorse…
It wasn’t long before The Beast found the perfect spot to dip his long body in the water & I thought what the hell, it’s technically still Summer so I joined him!
But I was a bit of a soggy sausage, Mum told me to shake it off…
Joey found some pretty flowers for Nanny along the way, they even matched his coat the clever sausage!
Harvey was leader for the walk with Alan bringing up the rear, he’s doing so well after his op & months of recovery, we all enjoyed watching him running around like a looney again!
Soon we were back home & after a siesta for all of us, Joey & I got back to our natural routine of ‘where’s Jeffrey’s ball?’ the little wotsit keeps hiding it from me!!
After a couple of hours of playing ‘boats’ & chasing balls, we headed to Nanny & Grandad’s for a roast dinner, chicken is my favourite!
I was ready & waiting, chicken with a few roast potatoes on the side please Grandad!
Dach’s all for now – we hope you all had a nice weekend too!

Lovely to see a day in the life of Jeffrey and co once again. Wonderful photos. Was Joey ever a baby Jeffrey? He looks like a proper little toddler! So glad that Alan is back to his old self. I was going to say ‘back to normal’ but I get the impression that he’s a bit daft so you might argue that he was never ‘normal’! He looks super though.
We’ve had a day out today as well. We’ve been to our lovely ‘Borrowers’ and we’re absolutely shattered. Playing all day.
Take care all of you.

Hi Finn!
I know, it seems a long time ago that Joey was a baby! He’s 15 months old now & growing quicker by the day chasing me!! Alan will never be ‘normal’, you’ve got that right! LOL! Glad to hear you’ve been having some nice days out too.
Take care,
Jeffrey
