It’s starting to get rather Christmassy in the Sausage Tails household. Mum & I made our advent calendar at the weekend and showed you all how we did it on our last blog post Sausage Advent-Ure and now we’re starting to wrap presents for our friends that we’ll see for pre-Christmas catch-up’s, dinners, walks and wrestling.

Mum & I have quite a collection building up of sausage dog themed wrapping paper, a must have for any dachshund home at Christmas!

It’s amazing isn’t it! Who would think not only is there wrapping paper out there that features our long sausage bodies but CHRISTMAS WRAPPING PAPER!!!! Mum was super excited when she found the first batch, never mind the rest!

First up we have a cream coloured wrap featuring all hounds, not just dachshunds, someone was trying to be fair when they designed this…

This one can be found at Pets at Home however it’s not online yet but can be found in most stores.

Secondly we have a rather nice turquoise wrap from BHS for the more flamboyant of your friends that you’ve brought a gift for, these sausage dogs are sporting cute cosy hats, scarves and even woolly jumpers – just like myself and Alan at this time of year. Alan said he wanted to give modelling a go this time, he thinks Vogue are going to be phoning any minute now…

Our third wrapping find was also from BHS and is of a more neutral tone, maybe those of us that like to use the trendy brown paper at Christmas could jazz it up a bit and go for the brown paper with sausage dogs on. Go on, you know you want to…

If you are a sausage household, are celebrating Christmas, then you HAVE to get at least one of these! Mum says that you need to ask your partner to wrap your own gifts in these, however she’s not sure she can trust Dad with such a special find…

I think it’s safe to say Mum has built up quite a collection of dachshund themed wrapping paper…

So our family and friends should expect their presents to be all wrapped up in a sausage paper by my own fair paw with a little bit of love from me!
