Wet Wiener Winter Walkies

Yesterday we decided to go for a long walk along the river so that we could say our farewells to Nanny & Grandad before they set off on their holiday today. We went back to the village that Mum & Dad got married in, what fond memories we have of the barn and the very important wedding duties I carried out. Let’s just say my ring bearing skills will be hard to beat…Monks Barn Hurley

Soon after we set off for the river so that Rodders could take a dip in the cold water and we could stretch our legs…

As 2 minutes after these photos were taken, Rodney launched into the river after the ducks and had to be fished out by Dad as Nanny & Mum were laughing too much to help! Silly Sausage!

However I wasn’t going to make the same mistake…

But I did have to sprint to catch up with the others as I got far too carried away with my sniffing…Hurley Dog Walks

It wasn’t long before Rodney took the plunge again and turned into a fully fledged Swamp Monster!

Dad & I were admiring the big house up on the hill, Danesfield House, I can only aspire to be able to live somewhere like that one day, if Dad was to get an extremely large pay rise that is…

The afternoon sun was beginning to set and it was definitely getting colder so us sausages turned around and headed back to the car…

Rodney likes to feel the wet grass on his belly…

The humans soon got the message and headed back with us, I think we were all ready for a towel-dry, cup of tea and our warm sofa!

    Hi Chaps,
I’m exhausted just looking at your photos. You must be the fittest sausages in the world! Enjoy your holiday sausage-sitting Rodney. Hope he doesn’t give you any trouble!
    Regards,
    Finn
