I have an amazing new jumper to share with you today, the Puddle Jumper especially for dachshunds, created by our lovely friend, Maria, at Walk Me This Way

As soon as my jumper arrived I just had to unwrap it and try it on! It seems sturdy and robust…

Mum measured it up against me to make sure that she had sent Maria the right measurements, seems she had!

I choose this lovely green colour, appropriate for all seasons and green does suit my complexion and colouring…

It has a roll neck, perfect for those chilly days, which sports the classic Walk Me This Way label

The Puddle Jumper is made of technical fleece, the same material that outdoor hiking/camping clothes are made from. Maria informs me that it’s very clever fleece that wicks water away rather than soaking it up, which can create a very soggy sausage if that happens.

The tummy panel is made from a stretchy, waterproof fabric and comes in a variety of colours to match the fleece that you choose.

Luckily for those of you that own dachshunds that have a penchant for rolling in fox poo and other muddy things (I do, very occasionally, of course) the Puddle Jumpers are easily machine washed at 40 degrees but must NEVER be washed with fabric conditioner.  They wash and dry very quickly which is very handy when you’re a sausage like me, who likes to go out for walks everyday and keep warm and dry.
