We’ve had a very quiet and chilled weekend as Dad’s not been well and suffering from a nasty cold, however, Mum wasn’t around yesterday as she spent the day working and then relaxing at a spa. So it was down to Alan & I to nurse him back to health by sitting on his chest to keep him warm (Alan) and helping him drink copious amounts of tea (Me). We aim to please! He was feeling a bit better today and managed a stroll in the bracing wind to meet our friend Archie and we even cooked him a roast dinner to make him feel better, well Nanny did, we just sampled it…

Glad to hear your Dad is on the mend.
You look very smart after your strip and it’s nice to see you supervising in the kitchen, making sure the roast dinner is perfect. I notice that Alan was messing around with Rodney whilst you were slaving over the dinner. Typical!
It’s been very, very bracing over here and very, very wet so I’ve just been drying out between soggy walks. I think it’s more of the same tomorrow. Hey ho!
