When Mum & Nanny ‘nipped’ (returning 3 hours later) to the garden centre the other day and returned with a carrier bag, somehow I knew it was something for me.
When I turned on the charm (aka – whined loudly at Mum, it always works) she gave in and confirmed that whatever was in the bag was in fact for me. Result. I got stuck in, nose first of course…
You may have remembered that a while back the Stuffing Slayer took a liking to some of my favourite toys, including my Hear Doggy toy. I was not amused.
Each limb was ripped from the Hear Doggy toy at a time, I can imagine it was rather painful for him. Mum kept sewing them back on but it soon got to a point where enough was enough and no matter how much thread we used, the Stuffing Slayer returned with a vengeance. We were all pretty gutted, Mum due to the fact that this is a SILENT squeaky toy and me, it was my favourite, smelliest toy in my box. Gutted…
What was in the new bag? A new toy I hear you say?
Yes! All is not lost as Mum & Nanny came across the EXACT same toy in the garden centre! I could not believe my luck! However it smelt pretty new, not quite the ‘homely’ smell the original one carried…
But it’s much better than Version 1, all limbs are intact and all stuffing present but I might just keep the old one, just in case…
Dach’s all for now!
