Today I turn 3 years old! Can you believe it? I know, I know, I still look like a young pup! A young pup with a beard, grey hair and shaggy eyebrows…
So as tradition goes, Alan & I donned our party hats and got in the party mood!
Did someone say cake?
Rodney decided he would start the celebrations by barking Happy Birthday to me. Very. Loudly.
And Alan thought he’d join in with the soprano parts, lucky me…
What a smart boy Rodders looks in his party hat! The Red hat matches his fur…
And Alan always manages to look the cutest, when will he ever look like an adult sausage?
However all the barking singing and partying make for one tired birthday boy…
But I soon perked up when Mum said that we were going to cut the cake, my favourite part of a party!
Actually, my favourite part of a party is eating the cake! Well, someone needs to ‘test’ it’s ok before serving food to guests!!
After I had conducted the ‘quality control’ of my birthday cake it was time to dish it out, I checked I had the biggest slice…
After we had eaten all the cake, licked each others noses and rubbed our sticky beards on Nanny’s carpets (shhhh, don’t tell her!) it was time for me to open my presents!
It looks like Mum had been on a little shopping trip to the posh new dog shop on our high street, Barkers.
Just taking a sneaky peek as something smells good!
First up was these amazing smelling Ginger Woofers treats. I think Mum got them when she had Nanny on the mind as a little tribute to my ginger red-head Nanny!
And then a new squeaky toy! Not only did it have a brilliant squeaker in it that will annoy the hell out of Mum & Dad but it also had a tennis ball in the head! This might come in useful as I’ve been training Alan to be a ball boy for next years Wimbledon tournament, well a pup’s gotta have aspirations!
I’ve had a lovely birthday, a big thank you to all of you that have sent cards, presents and birthday wishes, it means a lot to me!
Dach’s all for now – here’s to another year of growing up!
