Some of you may already be aware as they have graced these pages in the past, we have two cats! Today is their 7th birthday so I thought I might dedicate a whole post to them for a change! Snitch & Sylvester are brothers, however, they are very different in looks and personality. I would also like to point out that they are BIG cats and that the photos are not out of perspective, I really do look that small next to them!

First up is Sylvester, or as we like to call him Sylvie Wylvie

Sylvester is a lazy cat, some even say he is more dog than cat, and he is the bigger of the two boys. He’s not the most graceful of cats and you soon feel the floor vibrate when he launches off the kitchen side. He is the only cat we know that can eat a whole meal in one sitting, normally cats like to graze throughout the day but not this chap! He likes steak, bread, used tea bags, anything he can get his paws on and steal to eat!

Here is Snitch, and yes he is a boy, not a girl as everyone presumes…

And what a pretty boy he is! Snitch is our hunter, he likes to catch birds, mice, frogs and the occasional slow worm, which he likes to deposit in the middle of the kitchen floor ready for when Mum gets home, I’m sure she loves it really. Snitch & I occasionally wrestle and he’s the one Alan & I like to chase, well he does tend to run faster than Sylvester, I like to think of Snitch as my personal trainer!

We all get on a like a house on fire, despite Mum telling us off when we chase them, what she doesn’t realise is, it’s all a game and they love it really! You can often find us snuggled up together or sharing a bowl of biscuits, well I say sharing, I tend to sneak a tasty biscuit from their bowl when they’re not looking!

Happy Birthday boys, I hope Mum gave you a yummy dinner, make sure you save me some!
