As it’s a Bank Holiday weekend we decided it was time to tidy up the garden, sort out the Summer pots and plant the vegetables.

I emptied out the winter plants…

And planted up the patio pots with pretty Summer plants.

Including my sausage dog planter, it’s what every dachshund garden needs!

It was then time to plant the tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers in the greenhouse ready for some yummy Summer salads. I wish we could grow steak on plants…

The good thing about having big paws is that I can use them to dig the holes for the plants, what a helpful hound!

Dad was cutting back the bushes so I made sure I supervised him so he didn’t cut an arm or leg off, he needs them to work so I can get Bonios.

After a tea break it was soon time to check out the flower beds and pull out those pesky weeds with my teeth however I may have gotten carried away and picked a pretty purple flower, Mum wasn’t too pleased.

I checked out the bug situation too, you can never be too careful with those slippery snail suckers hiding underneath the leaves. Mum hates them so I have to be her hero.

Finally, I watered all the new plants in and gave them a refreshing drink!
