Fridays Furry Friend

Happy Friday everyone! Winter is definitely here today, the wind has been chasing the leaves around and I’ve been wearing my first piece of knitwear for the season. I wanted to give a little shout out to our buddy Lenny as he went for THAT op today and not only did he go for the ‘man op’ but his was a little more complex as his ‘plums’ were retained. We hope you feel better soon Lenny and are on the mend soon, if you want to see how I coped you check out my blog post WARNING: This Blog May Contain Nuts

I wanted to share this weeks Fridays Furry Friend with you as not only do you get 6 for the price of 1 but these ladies were all sporting their poppys for Remembrance Day this week. We can all take a moment to remember the members of the armed forces that gave their lives in the line of duty,  personally I think these girls look rather pretty and patriotic.

Hi Jeffrey!
My name is Bette (pronounced Betty) and I live with my sisters and a brother in the Scottish Highlands. I thought you would like to see a picture of us being patriotic and wearing our Remembrance Day poppy dog tags. I’m the rather lovely one third from the left. Lily wouldn’t lift her head to show off her poppy but she is excused because she is an old lady – she will be 15 on 1st November. That’s her daughter, Saffron, between Lily and me.
On the left of the photo is Solo, mummy says he’s top dog because he was here first but he is a big softie. Then it’s Shani, Solo’s niece, who thinks she can beat when we are play-fighting but I just lie on my back and beat her that way. Easy-peasy. Then we have Peaches, who is the youngest – she will be 8 years old on Christmas Day. Shani and I are already 8 years old. Solo is 13 and Saffron is 13.
As you can see, mummy isn’t biased, she has all three coats but she keeps saying she’d love a black-and-tan smooth and wire because those are two she has never had. Don’t think that is gonna happen any time soon, though. Dad would be horrified!
If you are wondering what the disc is that you can see behind Shani’s poppy it’s a medic alert disc because Shani is epileptic.
Have a lovely weekend, Jeffrey! Hugs to you and your brother and mummy and daddy.
