Fridays Furry Friend

This week we really don’t have much to report from the Sausage Tails House, Mum & Dad have continued their DIY project of overhauling their our bedroom. This entailed lots of stripping of wallpaper, plastering, painting and generally a lot of mess and chaos, which after 2 weeks has finally got on Mum’s nerves, Alan & I are wagering Bonio’s as to when she’ll blow, I give it until tomorrow night…

This weeks Fridays Furry Friend has been sent to me by Louise Dolphin of her lovely older wire girl called Phoebe. I think you’ll agree that not only does Phoebe look great for her age but she also pulls off that grey & pink raincoat with class – you go girl! Unfortunately Phoebe is blind but it sounds like she copes amazingly well and can even bring in ‘presents’ for her family through not only one but two cat flaps! If that doesn’t bring a smile to your face for the start of the weekend then I don’t know what will!

Over to Louise…

Hi Jeffrey – and Alan, of course!
We thought you’d like to meet one of your newest fans – our fabulous Phoebe.
She is an absolute sweetie pie and brightens our days immensely. She will be 12 in May and has been with us since she was 4 months old having relocated to Worcestershire from Scotland.
Unfortunately she is completely blind, which happened virtually overnight when she was just 5 years old. However, she has coped fantastically and still leads a full and happy life. She enjoys foraging in our extensive garden and especially likes bringing as much of it as possible into the house – no mean feat through two cat-flaps we can tell you.
Best wishes for a exciting and jolly weekend from Phoebe and the Dolphin family
xx
