Fridays Furry Friend

Well it’s that time already, our first Fridays Furry Friend of 2017! So how was the start to your New Year? We’ve been packing our house up ready for the building works and we’re getting ready to move in with Nanny & Grandad for a bit. We just hope there will be plenty of room in Harvey & Rodney’s bed for us, I’m sure by now they are aware I like the space by the radiator!!

We’ve been extremely chilly this week, I’m not sure even our trusty Equafleece’s were cutting the mustard in keeping poor Alan warm in these frosty conditions!! A few of you have asked about Alan’s baldness and we just wanted to let you know that he seems to have a touch of seasonal alopecia. He’s absolutely fine, albeit a little cold, but that is why he has bald patches around his eyes, under his neck and his bottom. We keep him wrapped up as much as possible but come Spring time he will back to his chocolatey almost hairy self!

Frosty Dogs

We thought we would start the year off with our first Fridays Furry Friend being one of my best friends that needs a little cheering on at the moment. Right before Christmas my buddy Archie was rushed into surgery due to two of his back discs going, unfortunately a common problem amongst us dachshunds. We were all gutted but Archie is such a trooper and after two operations he had his stitches out this week!

We are so pleased he is on the road to recovery and with lots of love from his hoo-Mum & Dad and gentle physio, I’m sure he will be back to chasing those tennis balls in no time!

Dach’s all for now – off to make sure Mum has packed my favourite chipmunk toy…

So glad to hear that Archie is back on his paws again. He’s been very brave.
Hope you both have a super weekend.
    Regards,
    Finn
