Fridays Furry Friend

Thank sausage it’s Friday!! My week didn’t get off to the best of starts, Mum dragging me out of bed early on Monday morning to be at the vets for 8.15am for my vaccination booster & kennel cough – not what you really want to be doing on Monday morning but hey ho, a sausage needs to be healthy! I don’t really mind too much, I love the staff at my local vets as they always give me treats, I’m also treated as a VIP guest as I am actually the face (or should that be beard?) of Temple End Vets, which you can read all about HERE

Temple End Vets

I also wanted to take this opportunity to mention that I will be doing a special Hallowienee Fridays Furry Friend next week, so make sure you email your Halloween themed Furry Friend to be in with a chance to feature in the special edition! Email your entries to sausagetails@live.co.uk

This weeks Furry Friend isn’t scary at all but is in fact a local girl to me, I think I may just have to look her up! Catherine has sent in this lovely photo of her first every dachshund Mabel, what a cutie! It seems Catherine is learning how headstrong us sausages can be (my Mum says stubborn!!) and she loves to chase chickens, a bit like that time Alan & I found a pheasant farm… Anyway, carry on reading to find out more about Mabel & her new family!

Hi Jeffrey
Id like to introduce myself and our first ever Daxi, Mabel.
My name is Catherine and we live in Marlow, Buckinghamshire. We are proud owners of a five month old smooth hair dachshund, Mabel.
We are new to Daxis and are learning just how headstrong they can be. She is super intelligent, but chooses when to listen to us, whenever it suits her, especially where our pet chicken are concerned. She loves the chase.
I’m sure Mabel would love to join your walks in the local area next time you organise one.
I have attached a pic of our first beach experience, where she insisted on covering us and herself in sand from digging holes all over the beach.
Thanks,
Catherine Fenemer

Don’t forget, if you too would like to be my Fridays Furry Friend, email a photo and a bit about yourself to sausagetails@live.co.uk

Mabel looks lovely. I know what it’s like to have a puppy in the house, just like you Jeffrey. I’m rushed off my paws most of the time trying to keep up with our six month old bundle of fun.
Hope you both have a super weekend. Take care.
    Regards,
    Finn
