American Hotdog

It was about time we shared with you some photos from Mum & Dad’s trip to Boston & New York, we’ve been a bit quiet over in this small corner of the blogosphere due to it not only being Fathers Day last Sunday but also my Dad’s birthday. It only gets busier this week as we celebrate my Mum’s 30th birthday tomorrow, Grandad’s birthday on Saturday combined with a combined birthday bash – busy busy busy! Alan & I love a party so we’ll be throwing on our best outfits and busting some shapes on the dance floor! I wonder if they’ll play Who Let The Dogs Out?

So, back to the big U S of A trip which Dad planned as a surprise to celebrate Mum’s 30th birthday, they went to Boston followed by a few days in New York. They experienced their very first baseball game which surprisingly, Mum loved! She said it would be a sport she could see Alan getting into so she decided he needed the hat to get into the role…

My parents went to New York and all they bought me was this lousy t-shirt…

No, in all seriousness I love it! However I would have loved to have been there myself to buy it however it wasn’t meant to be, maybe on the next trip?

So after taking in their first Red Sox baseball game in Boston, Mum & Dad went to see the sites in New York which included the Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, The Rockefeller Centre, Central Park and lots more! Here’s just a taste of their adventures…

And of course Mum was on the look out all the time for an American sausage dog or as they like to call them over there, Wiener Dogs! Here’s just a couple of the paparazzi shots she managed to snap…

The only wire dachshund they found was this little lady, not only was she the only wire but the only one they met that lived overlooking Central Park – posh totty!

Well that’s just a fraction of their American adventures, there are rumours they want to go back so I’m hoping Alan can actually play his very own baseball game and I can check out the ladies in Central Park!

Dach’s all for now – get outta here!
